What to Expect

Before the Inspection

Your inspector may send you a link to fill in your personal information, the property address, and any relevant details. This form helps them prepare for the inspection.

You may also receive a service agreement to review and sign electronically before the inspection begins.

During the Inspection

A typical residential inspection takes 2-4 hours depending on the property size. The inspector will examine:

  • Structural components (foundations, walls, roof structure)
  • Exterior (cladding, windows, doors, drainage)
  • Roofing
  • Plumbing systems
  • Electrical systems
  • Heating and cooling
  • Interior (walls, floors, stairs)
  • Insulation and ventilation
  • Safety systems (smoke alarms, egress)

After the Inspection

Within a few days, you’ll receive an email with a link to your report package. This typically includes:

  1. The inspection report — Detailed findings with photos
  2. An invoice — If applicable
  3. Any attached documents
